California is about to attempt to make a significantly smaller carbon footprint. An action California is taking to reach this goal is cutting down on greenhouse gas admissions. In addition to this the state is offering deals on electrical and/or fuel efficient vehicles, to encourage the public to make the switch to clean air vehicles. There are many difficult challenges that lay ahead in order to decrease the carbon footprint of California. However Governor Brown intends on doing whatever it takes to make this a reality. It seems that the biggest issue is getting citizens to convert to clean air vehicles. So the idea of installing more electric plug in stations will make electrical vehicles appeal more to the public. The infrastructure and agricultural industry need to make some drastic changes as well to help California reach it's goal, less landfills and less methane released into the atmosphere. I find this article very applicable to my life because I am a citizen of California and It is nice to be informed of the actions needed to be taken to lessen the carbon footprint. A lot of the citizens seem to doubt the progress and commitment for this plan to work, but i am a firm believer that with dedication, we citizens will be able to reduce our impact for future generations. http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-pol-ca-jerry-brown-signs-climate-laws-20160908-snap-story.html
